I'm sorry about your father. Even though we all know that we are on this earth for a short time, it doesn't make it any easier when a loved one is departing. Here are a few verses to cling to in these times:
Psalm 55:22 Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous fall.
Psalm 18:2 The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the hornof my salvation, my stronghold.
